Since ancient times with the development of faith, human’s ancestors begin to consider sculptured panel as a form of expression of worship and heritage. The primitive rock paintings and sculptured panel gradually developed and combined with painting. Thus, the sculptured panel today has become more three-dimensional. You can also see the art from ancient Egypt, ancient Greece, China’s temples and tombs, and that’s also the embossed veneer came into being.
Sculptured panel basic is to sculpture on the surface the panel, the material can be divided into many types, you can also choose your favorite one with different materials, such as: mid-range gypsum board, ceramic plate, wood, glass, marble, etc. In this article, we are talking about the environmental friendly and high-quality PU embossed veneer.
Goodware H&K PU material embossed veneer will processed by the bubble chemical reaction and color treatment. Then we will process the sculptured panel by different sizes and shapes. The embossed veneer can be also design with different colors of processing. The surface of the embossed veneer is available for secondary processing, customers can choose either oily or water-based coating materials for the secondary process, which are both easy to attach up. We commonly use five processing methods to elaborated decorative embossed veneer: paste foil, color painted, gold painted, bronze, and washed white.

The Processing of Gold Painting
- Sculptured panels are decorated with a layer of white primer on the surface of the wall.
- Then use a small brush to dip the gold paint color, raised a pen with the lines depict in the surface of the lines.
- Finally sprayed with transparent paint for protection.
The Processing of Bronze
- First spray a layer of black color on sculptured panels surface as primer.
- Then brush a small amount of gold paint, brush on the surface of the sculptured panels raised or smooth area lightly. It will show out an irregular brush marks once you brush on it. It is the natural color of metal rust.
- Finally sprayed with transparent
paint for protection.

Process of Washed White
- First, spray a layer of white on the sculptured panels surface as primer.
- Wait for the paint dry and then coated with a layer of antique oil (dark brown). Wipe out the antique oil partially until the antique oil after all dry. With these treatment, the surface of the sagging or ditch area will naturally show a deeper color, which can increase the surface with three-dimensional effect.
- Finally sprayed with transparent paint for protection.
