Polyurethane molding materials are commonly used for interior decoration now. They have replaced the plaster moldings and wood moldings. The features of them are waterproof, lightweight, many types, and easy to construct.
The water resistance of the plaster moldings and wood moldings is not good. They are easy to become moldy when you install them in the humid place. Because absorb excessive moisture, they will become perishable and deformed.
However, are polyurethane molding materials waterproof? Will they happen the same problem as plaster moldings and wood moldings? Don’t worry. Polyurethane molding materials are the best waterproof material for decoration. They are not the absorbent materials. Even though you soak them in the water, they will not absorb water and become heavy.
Waterproof test

If install them in the outdoor, the weather will influence them, especially wind, rain, and ultraviolet. The surface of the PU products needs to paint a special paint, such as stone coating paint and anti-UV paint. The paint can delay the product aging of the surface.
